2) Standby unit
Under normal circumstances, the power required by the user is supplied by the municipal power supply. When the municipal power supply is cut off or interrupted for other reasons, the generator set is set to ensure the basic production and life of the user. Such generator sets are permanently used in important power users such as telecommunications departments, hospitals, industrial and mining enterprises with tight municipal power supply, airports and television stations. This kind of unit is always in standby state and can provide continuous power supply to unsteady load.
3) Emergency unit
For the electrical equipment whose sudden interruption of mains power will cause great losses or personal accidents, emergency generator sets are often set to supply emergency power to these equipment, such as fire-fighting system of high-rise buildings, evacuation lighting, elevator, control system of automatic production line, important communication system and medical equipment undergoing important surgery with patients.
