How to avoid oil tank failure of diesel generator set

(1) The storage position of the oil tank must be safe to prevent fire. The oil tank or oil drum should be placed separately in a visible place, properly away from the diesel generator set, and smoking is strictly prohibited;
(2) If the fuel tank is made by the user, it should be noted that the fuel tank of the standby diesel generator set is made of stainless steel or steel plate. Do not spray paint or galvanized inside the fuel tank, because they will react with diesel, produce impurities that may cause damage to the diesel generator set and reduce the quality, cleanliness and combustion efficiency of diesel;
(3) After the oil tank is placed, the maximum oil level shall not be 2.5m higher than the base of the diesel generator set. If the oil level of the large oil depot is higher than 2.5m, a daily oil tank shall be added between the large oil depot and the diesel generator set so that the pressure of direct oil delivery is not greater than 2.5m. Even during the shutdown of the diesel generator set, the fuel is not allowed to flow into the diesel engine through the oil inlet pipeline or injection pipeline by gravity;
(4) The resistance at the oil port shall not exceed the specified value when using clean filter element specified on the performance data sheet of all diesel generator sets. This resistance value is based on half of the fuel in the fuel tank;
(5) The oil supply pipe end of the oil tank shall be about 50mm higher than the bottom of the oil tank of the diesel generator set to prevent sediment and water from being sucked into the oil supply pipe;
(6) The connection of fuel return pipeline shall not cause shock wave in fuel oil pipe of diesel generator set;
(7) The fuel capacity in the fuel tank shall ensure daily supply;
(8) Perforated diaphragms shall be set in the oil supply and return areas of the oil tank to reduce the heat exchange of the diesel generator set
