How the diesel generator set can operate safely during use directly affects the operation safety and property safety of the unit. The following diesel generator set manufacturers will help you understand the safety problems of the diesel generator set.
1. Thermal insulation
Thermal insulation measures shall be taken for the high-temperature parts of diesel generator set (excluding muffler and connecting pipe) to ensure that the nearby equipment and facilities will not be damaged during unit operation, and the surface temperature of thermal insulation measures shall not exceed 140 ℃.
2. Dielectric strength of insulation
Each independent circuit of the electrical winding of the diesel generator set to the ground and between the circuits shall bear the test frequency of 50Hz, the test voltage of 1500V, the waveform shall be the actual sine wave as far as possible, and there shall be no breakdown or flashover during the insulation dielectric strength test lasting for 1min.
3. Insulation resistance
When the ambient temperature of diesel generator set is 15 ℃ - 35 ℃ and the relative humidity is 45% - 75%, the insulation resistance of each independent electrical circuit to ground and between circuits shall not be less than 25m Ω in cold state and 5m Ω in hot state.
4. Grounding device
The diesel generator set is equipped with good grounding device.
5. Overspeed
The diesel generator set operates at 120% rated speed for 10min without damage.
6. Overcurrent
The diesel generator set can withstand the overcurrent lasting for 15s and 150% of the rated current.
