8) The smoke exhaust outlet of the unit shall not bear heavy pressure, and all rigid pipelines shall be supported and fixed with the help of buildings or steel structures.
2. Installation of smoke pipe of diesel generator set
1) In order to prevent condensate from flowing back into the unit, the flat smoke exhaust pipe shall have a slope, and the low end shall be away from the engine; The silencer and any other pipeline part with condensate trickle, such as the vertical direction of the smoke pipe, shall be provided with a drain.
2) When the smoke pipe passes through the flammable roof, wall or partition, it shall be provided with thermal insulation sleeve and wall outer plate.
3) If conditions permit, most smoke pipes shall be arranged outside the machine room as far as possible to reduce radiant heat; All indoor smoke pipes shall be equipped with thermal insulation sheath. If the muffler and other pipelines must be placed indoors due to installation conditions, the whole pipeline shall be wrapped with 50mm thick high-density thermal insulation material and aluminum sheath for thermal insulation.
4) Thermal expansion shall be allowed when the pipeline support is fixed;
5) The end of the smoke pipe shall be able to avoid the dripping of rainwater. Extend the horizontal plane of the smoke pipe, repair materials at the outlet or install rain caps.
3. Precautions for smoke pipe installation of diesel generator set
1) The smoke exhaust pipe of each diesel engine shall be led out of the room separately and should be laid overhead or in the trench. The smoke exhaust duct and muffler shall be separately supported, and shall not be directly supported on the main exhaust pipe of the diesel engine or fixed on other parts of the diesel engine. Flexible connection is adopted between smoke exhaust lead pipe and smoke exhaust main pipe. The bracket on the smoke exhaust pipe must allow the pipe to expand or use roller type bracket, while the short flexible pipe or expansion bellows shall be a long pipe between the two fixed frames and combined as a whole.
2) The length of smoke exhaust duct and matching requirements with pipe diameter shall be determined according to the data provided by the manufacturer. When the smoke exhaust pipe needs to pass through the wall, it shall be equipped with a protective sleeve. It shall be laid vertically along the wall extending out of the room, and the outlet end of the pipe shall be provided with a rain cap or cut into an inclined angle of 320 ~ 450. The wall thickness of all smoke exhaust pipes shall not be less than 3mm.
3) The direction of the smoke exhaust pipe shall be fireproof, and the part extending out of the outdoor shall be set with a slope of 0.3% ~ 0.5%. Slope to the outside to facilitate the discharge of oil fume condensate and condensate outside. When the horizontal pipe is long, the blowdown valve shall be installed at the lowest point.
4) When the smoke exhaust pipe in the machine room is laid overhead, the indoor part shall be provided with a thermal insulation layer, and the thickness of the thermal insulation layer below 2m from the ground shall not be less than 60mm; When the smoke exhaust pipe is laid overhead under the fuel pipe or the trench laying needs to pass through the fuel pipe, safety measures shall also be considered.
