As an emergency standby power supply or construction power supply, the operators often encounter the phenomenon of failure to start and unsuccessful start in the process of use, which is mainly caused by the following reasons.

1. Sensor failure: a generator set usually has 3-4 types of sensors, namely: oil pressure sensor, temperature sensor, speed sensor and liquid level sensor. If these sensors are damaged or the harness falls off, it will cause unsuccessful startup.

2. Startup battery failure: insufficient battery capacity will cause unsuccessful startup or direct failure to start.

3. Harness failure: most diesel generator sets are automatic start-up control systems. The damage and falling off of any harness, wiring terminal and relay will cause unsuccessful start-up and failure to start.

4. Fuel failure: blocked oil circuit or a large amount of air, blocked fuel filter, insufficient fuel pressure, etc. will cause unsuccessful startup.

5. Diesel engine failure: the internal structure of the diesel engine is aging or fails, which will cause unsuccessful start or failure to start.

If you encounter the phenomenon that the diesel generator set cannot be started or is not started successfully, please patiently troubleshoot the fault points according to the service conditions of the machine, or consult laines for maintenance.
