Diesel generator set is generally composed of diesel engine, generator, control box, fuel tank, starting and control battery, protection device, emergency cabinet and other components. Diesel generator is a small power generation equipment, which refers to the power machinery that uses diesel as fuel and diesel engine as prime mover to drive the generator to generate electricity.

he correct maintenance of diesel generator, especially preventive maintenance, is the most economical maintenance, which is the key to prolong the service life of diesel generator and reduce the use cost. First of all, we must do a good job in the daily work during the use of diesel generator, and timely make necessary adjustment and repair according to the reflected situation. Accordingly, different maintenance schedules are formulated with reference to the contents of the operation and maintenance manual of diesel generator, special working conditions and use experience. Today, Raines introduces the daily maintenance and repair items of diesel generator.
1. Check all instruments. Observe whether the reading is normal, otherwise it shall be repaired or replaced in time.

2. Check the fuel volume of the fuel tank, observe the fuel storage volume of the fuel tank and replenish it as needed.

3. Check the oil level of the fuel injection pump governor. The oil level should reach the scribed mark on the oil scale. If it is insufficient, add enough oil.

4. Check the oil level in the oil pan. The oil level should reach the scribed mark on the oil scale. If it is insufficient, it should be added to the specified amount.

5. Check the transmission connecting plate of fuel injection pump. Check whether the connecting screw is loose. Otherwise, recalibrate the injection advance angle and tighten the connecting screw.

6. Check the installation of all accessories of diesel engine. Including the stability of the installation of various accessories and the reliability of anchor bolts and connections with working machinery.

7. Check the three leaks (water, oil and gas). Eliminate oil leakage and water leakage on sealing surfaces such as oil and water pipe joints; Eliminate air leakage at intake and exhaust pipe, cylinder head gasket and turbocharger.

8. Clean the appearance of diesel engine and auxiliary equipment. Wipe off oil stains, water and dust on the surfaces of the machine body, turbocharger, cylinder head cover, air filter, etc. with a dry cloth or a dry rag soaked in diesel oil; Wipe or blow the dust on the surface of charging generator, radiator, fan, etc. with compressed air.
