The large biogas project in Jingyan county is one of the subprojects of the national livestock and poultry waste resource utilization project in 2018. It is also the only "in the whole collection treatment" project in Sichuan. The annual treatment capacity of livestock and poultry waste is 274000 tons and straw 36000 tons. It can solve more than 1/3 of the livestock and poultry waste in the county, which is of great significance to the county ecological environment.

Li Zhao, the project leader, said that the project is expected to generate 11.52 million kwh of electricity annually, with an annual output of 25000 tons of solid organic fertilizer and 245000 tons of biogas liquid fertilizer. After the biogas liquid is aged and matured, it is transported to more than 30 scattered storage points of the industrial ring line through 300 km pipe network in the park for free application by the growers. It is estimated that the fertilizer use can be reduced by 4000 tons per year“ Not only ecological and social benefits are obvious, but also the project is expected to achieve profitability and achieve a sustainable and benign cycle. The relevant leaders of Sichuan Rural Energy Office said that the three biogas projects observed at the meeting site - Jingyan County super large biogas project, new village centralized gas supply project and rural residential environment renovation "biogas to toilet" respectively represent Sichuan to adapt to the new development situation, and firmly adhere to the working ideas of "gas is suitable for gas, electricity for electricity, fertilizer for fertilizer and environment for environment", The application of biogas project in three levels, namely, large, small and micro, is promoted. The small-scale new village centralized gas supply project mainly aims at the appropriate scale breeding farms with 1000 annual listing and micro rural residential environment renovation "biogas to toilet" is the reuse of unused household biogas pools. This year, Sichuan has promoted the pilot of "biogas to toilet" in six counties.

Sichuan is an important province in the development of rural energy in China. During the 13th five year plan, 1253 biogas projects have been built in the province, which will improve the capacity of livestock and poultry waste treatment by 14.7 million tons per year, the biogas production capacity is 80.64 million cubic meters per year, and the biogas fertilizer production capacity is 4.41 million tons per year. A number of demonstration projects with excellent quality and remarkable output efficiency have been built. It is worth mentioning that Sichuan has successively divided into two batches, which bundle and sell the carbon emission reduction benefits of household biogas digesters in the United Nations carbon exchange trading platform, increasing the income of 14.74 million yuan for farmers and poor households, covering 530000 people times.
