Eskom, the South African national power company, issued a statement saying that due to the "major event" in Zambia affecting the power supply of cahorabasa and the failure of two generator units to resume service on time, Eskom will implement the fourth phase of load reduction from the afternoon of November 8 to the morning of November 12, and then implement the second phase of load reduction until the early morning of November 13. It is reported that at present, Eskom has a total fault volume of 14874 MW, and its planned maintenance capacity is 5579 MW. In the first 11 months of this year, power rationing has been implemented nationwide in 9 months.
