Nepal's minister of energy, water resources and irrigation, MBAM busar, said that the government was ready to allow the private sector to trade electricity according to their needs.
On Tuesday, at the 19th and 20th general meetings of Nepal Independent Power Producers Association (IPPAN), Minister busar urged the private sector to put forward a reliable power trading basis.
Bu said that they are ready to solve the problem of private sector participation in power business, which is only completed by Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) alone.
"Even if you are an institution or an individual, we are ready to give permission to make suggestions about the amount you will trade and how to trade. Although there are no relevant regulations, we have a flexible policy in place," she said.
