"This winter, if you come to clean the wires for us, we will use electricity more safely." recently, Grandma Li, who lives in Fangyuan community, economic development zone, Guiyang City, thanked the staff of Xiaohe Power Supply Bureau of China Southern Power Grid. On November 29, four staff members of Xiaohe Power Supply Bureau carried out "diagnosis and treatment" of power facilities in the community, mainly for the transformation of facilities such as wiring and meter replacement. Fangyuan community is located in the central section of the economic development zone. It is a typical old community with more than 300 households. The houses in the community have been built for 23 years. Due to the long-term lack of property management maintenance, the lines in the community are aging and messy.

In addition, there are more than 30 shops on the first floor of Fangyuan community. Over the years, shop users have continuously renovated and wrapped the original household line and electricity meter laid along the wall in the decoration partition. For a long time, there has been no management and maintenance, so that several fire safety accidents have occurred in succession recently. Therefore, Xiaohe power supply bureau took the initiative to contact the local neighborhood committee, sub district office and the fire squadron of the economic development zone for quadripartite consultation. With the cooperation of government departments, the power supply bureau invested and contributed to the transformation of the power facilities of the community to ensure the safety of residents' power consumption in winter. On December 3, the reporter learned from Guiyang Power Supply Bureau that since this year, in view of the aging of facilities in some old communities in Guiyang, the Bureau has invested 2.5 million yuan to upgrade transformers, lines, meters and other facilities in old communities, and more than 2.4 kilometers of new low-voltage lines alone. On November 26, the Bureau officially launched a new batch of 101 old residential power facility upgrading projects with a total planned investment of more than 9 million yuan, involving 54 power supply areas in Guiyang. According to the plan, nearly 40 kilometers of low-voltage lines will be built, 450 meters will be replaced, 20 transformers will be added, and the transformer capacity of the old community alone will reach 7330 kVA. The whole project is planned to be completed in the first half of next year.
