"In Zhangjiakou, the installed capacity of new energy has exceeded the traditional installed capacity. That is to say, under the condition of simultaneous linear output, more than 5 kwh of electricity per 10 kwh comes from renewable clean energy. Zhangjiakou competition area has also built its own 'Bashang Three Gorges', and its installed capacity has now exceeded the installed capacity of the whole Three Gorges hydropower."

Since the test activity of "meeting in Beijing" in February this year, Zhangjiakou competition area has successively established more than 600 power guarantee teams in 4 competition venues and 5 non competition venues.
At the same time, in order to better protect the test competition and the official competition of the Winter Olympics, after the "meeting in Beijing" test activity at the beginning of this year, each power support team conducted preventive tests and electrical defect elimination on the permanent power facilities of the venue, that is, a comprehensive physical examination of electrical equipment. Meanwhile, since August this year, according to the power demand during the Winter Olympic Games, all venues have fully started the construction of temporary power for OBS, media operation, venue operation, athlete comprehensive area and so on.
